What is powder coating?

Powder coating is applied to materials as a dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating does not need a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. Significantly, powder coating can be used to create thicker coatings than liquid coatings (without sagging).
